Each service reflects a particular kind of family situation. The work is tailored to what you're actually dealing with.

Spousal Maintenance Review

Child Living Arrangement Counsel

Child Living Arrangement Counsel

We begin with careful intake conversations, then draft a written arrangement that covers day-to-day routines, school holidays, special occasions, and significant decisions — with the children's interests kept central throughout.

  • Intake conversations to understand your situation
  • Detailed, workable written arrangement
  • Child-centred approach throughout

Cross-Border Family Law Coordination

Cross-Border Family Law Coordination

For families with members or assets across more than one jurisdiction. We identify the relevant legal frameworks, coordinate with counsel in the other country where required, and prepare arrangements that carry effect in both. We're direct about the complexity involved and discuss timelines and costs at the outset.

  • Multi-jurisdiction framework identification
  • Coordination with overseas counsel
  • Transparent costs and timeline discussion

What you can expect working with Ploy Law

Unhurried listening

We don't rush intake. Understanding your situation carefully is the first step to advising you well — and we take that seriously.

Written clarity

Our advice doesn't stay verbal. We produce written summaries so you have something to read, share with a trusted person, and refer back to.

A considered pace

Family matters take time to think through properly. We work at a pace that matches the weight of the decisions involved, not the convenience of a quick close.

Cross-border experience

Bangkok is home to many families with ties across more than one country. We understand that landscape and have worked within it with care over many years.

Discretion as standard

Family legal matters are private by nature. We treat everything you share with strict confidentiality — that's not a policy statement, it's how we work.

Clear, fixed fees

Each service has a set fee, discussed and agreed at the start. You won't find the scope creeping quietly upward once the work is underway.

· take the first step ·

Sometimes the most helpful thing is simply a conversation.

We offer an initial consultation at no charge — a quiet hour to talk through your situation and understand whether we can be useful to you.

Things people often ask

What happens in the first consultation?

We start by listening. You'll have the space to describe what you're dealing with, in whatever order feels natural. We'll ask a few clarifying questions, and by the end of the hour we'll have a shared understanding of your situation and whether — and how — we can help. There's no fee for this first conversation.

How long does a spousal maintenance review take?

Most reviews are completed within two to three weeks of receiving all the relevant documents. We'll confirm a working timeline at the start, and we'll let you know promptly if anything changes that estimate. The written summary is delivered once it's complete — we don't send drafts that aren't ready.

Is everything I share kept confidential?

Yes. Legal professional privilege applies to all advice and communications. What you share with us is not disclosed to the other party or to anyone outside our office without your clear consent. We treat discretion as a basic condition of the work, not a selling point.

Can you help if my former partner is in another country?

Yes — cross-border situations are something we work with regularly. The first step is identifying which legal frameworks are involved. From there we can explain what coordination is needed and, where useful, work with counsel in the other jurisdiction. We are direct about what's procedurally complex and what the likely timelines are.

What are your fees, and how are they structured?

Each service has a fixed fee agreed at the outset: ฿7,500 for a spousal maintenance review, ฿18,200 for child living arrangement counsel, and ฿34,200 for cross-border coordination work. We discuss exactly what's included before any work begins. If something falls outside the scope, we'll tell you before we proceed.

Do you work in English?

Yes. All our consultations, written advice, and correspondence can be conducted in English. We work with clients from many different backgrounds in Bangkok, and clear communication is central to how we practise.
